CURRENT COVID POLICIES. PLEASE READ: The following memo is regarding The Caring Group’s Covid-19 Clinic Protocol.

In accordance with the Illinois Department of Health, patients must be screened by their parent or guardian for COVID-19 symptoms and other criteria below PRIOR to entering the clinic. Should your child not meet the criteria below, you must keep your child at home and notify the clinic/therapist of this information.  At that time, you will be given the option to move to a tele-therapy session.

When you arrive at the clinic:

  1. Please have all people put on their masks before entering the building and come into the lobby. This protects our immunosuppressed children who come to our clinic for therapy.

  2. Our office manager will alert your therapist that your child has arrived for their appointment. At that point in time, you may choose to return to your car after your therapist has come to get your child or you may accompany your child to their session. Please note, there is no waiting in our lobby during your child's session should you choose to return to your car. This is due to COVID-19 protocols to help keep our staff and patients healthy.

  3. Should you choose to return to your car, please be back in the waiting room 5 minutes before the end of your child's session.

Criteria to attend therapy:

  • Does not have a temperature over 100.4 F.

  • Not taking fever-reducing medicines, such as those that contain aspirin, ibuprofen, or acetaminophen, in order to reduce his/her fever.
